Pepper the puppy

We have been missing Dixie since she died in March, and Shelby, our remaining dog, needed a friend. Shelby is our 4 year old playful dog who's a mutt we adopted, but we do know her mom was St. Bernard. And she is a great dog, so I sought out another 1/2 St. Bernard and found one at a rescue in Houston. Here is Pepper! She is about 5 months old now and so sweet and cuddly. She has puppy moments, but is mostly great. (I say that even after she dug up my pot plant in the kitchen today to bury her chew bone.) She is not allowed on the carpet in the house, but if she sees the boys getting dressed she'll run into their room, grab their clothes and run out. We are all enjoying her very much, especially Shelby who has a friend to play with again.
